CIC Saskatoon: Kim Nossal on “Canada Alone? The Enduring Challenge of America First”

November 6, 2023 @ 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm CST

It’s not just you: other people are worried about Trumpism, too.

Much beloved voice on Canadian foreign policy research Kim Nossal (Queen’s University) has recently written a book, Canada Alone: Navigating the Post-American World, in which he is openly concerned about a challenge to the unity of the West if, in the US,  a Republican administration picks up where Donald Trump left off in 2020.

In this talk, Dr. Nossal will focus how Canadians might prepare for the possibility of the return of America First.

About our speaker:

Kim Richard Nossal is professor emeritus in the Centre for International and Defence Policy, Queen’s University. He is the author of a number of works on Canadian foreign policy, including Canada Alone, published in September, and an updated and revised edition of Politique internationale et défense au Canada et au Québec, co-authored with Stéphane Roussel and Stéphane Paquin, released in August.
