CIC YPN: In Conversation with UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights and the Environment David Boyd

February 26, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm EST

Free

As the world watches nations mobilize to respond to COVID-19, it raises the question of whether the same can be done to address the serious health, economic, and social implications of climate change and issues surrounding environmental sustainability.
To help us understand the issues around global climate action, the CIC Young Professionals Network is being joined by the Special Rapporteur on human rights and the environment.
Dr. Boyd will speak to attendees on the connections between combatting climate change as well as a safe and sustainable environment and human rights.
This Q&A session will also include opportunities for questions from the audience.
