There are people and groups around the world who work every day to promote and protect human rights – sometimes taking on great risks to do so.
How can we mitigate the challenges these human rights defenders face and what can be done to support them in their invaluable work? To help us understand the challenges faced by human rights defenders and the strategies needed to better protect them, the CIC Young Professionals Network is being joined by Ms. Mary Lawlor, the United Nations Special Rapporteur on the situation of human right defenders.
The moderated Q&A session will include opportunities for audience questions.
