CIC Young Professionals Network: In Conversation with Humanitarian U Founder Dr. Kirsten Johnson
April 21, 2021 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm EDT
Free
The ongoing affects of climate change, global pandemics, and conflict, as well as natural disasters has increased the need for humanitarian aid and aid workers.
However, aid workers may not always have the cultural understanding as well as the skills and competencies needed to succeed.
To discuss global humanitarian aid and how to make humanitarian work better and more effective, the CIC Young Professionals Network will be joined by Dr. Kristen Johnson. Dr. Johnson will share her perspectives and answer audience questions.
