Hello everyone. We at the CIC Winnipeg Branch are happy to announce our first event of 2021.

Climate Change, Economy, and Resilience: Canada’s Options.

Speaking at the event we have:

Cameron Hunter, a policy analyst at the International Institute of Sustainable Development.

Jean- Frederic Morin, a research fellow with the CIC and research chair of International Political Economy at Laval University.

Imre Szeman, also a research fellow with the CIC and research chair of Environmental Communication at the University of Waterloo.

Professor Shirley Thompson of the Natural Resources Institute at the University of Manitoba will moderate the event.

Our guest speakers will be discussing some of the most pressing issues Canada must deal with moving forward and the potential strategies to do so. We hope you can join us on Zoom, March 10 at 7:00 PM CST, for what is sure to be a valuable discussion about Canada’s policy options.
