An opportunity for Manitobans to hear from and engage two distinguished commentators about US politics and current events in the lead-up to the US midterm elections in November.
Speakers’ Biographies
Marc Hetherington is the Raymond Dawson Bicentennial Chair in Political Science at the University of North Carolina. He studies the American electorate, with a particular focus on trust in government and the polarization of public opinion. His numerous awards include the Alexander George Award from the International Society of Political Psychology for the best book – Authoritarianism, and Polarization in American Politics – in the field of political psychology published in 2015.
Nicolee Ambrose is a Republican political activist, conservative commentator, and the newly elected Republican National Committeewoman for Maryland. She spearheaded the Maryland GOP’s successful “Super Saturday Program,” which contributed to electing Republicans in deeply Democratic areas. She speaks at events across the United States, frequently appearing on ABC, FOX News, and BBC.
