CIC Victoria: Vietnam’s Heroines: How Revolutionary Women are shaping economic take-off

Dr. Kate Frieson works as an Advisor to UN Women in Vietnam. Her work has focused on gender equality and social justice initiatives. She will speak on her experience in Vietnam and the role that women in Vietnam have played in shaping the economic success in that country.

Speaker’s Biography
Dr. Kate Frieson has a Ph.D in Politics from Monash University and 25 years of professional and practitioner experience in international development work in Southeast and South Asia.
