CIC Toronto: Politics in the Pub: Why Asia Will Be Unstable… But Not At War

July 25 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm EDT

With summer underway, the Canadian International Council’s Toronto Branch is thrilled to invite you to the next edition of our “Politics in the Pub” event series, where we meet together to talk about politics and foreign affairs over food, drinks, and good company.

The North Korea nuclear threat, territorial disputes among maritime powers, China’s rapid rise – the Indo-Pacific region is likely to experience growing instability in the years to come. But the region will not be at war. Why?

Join us to discuss and hear from Toronto Metropolitan University’s Sorpong Peou speak on peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific.

Register via the link below. CIC Toronto Members join for free, and tickets for non-Members are $12.
