CIC Saskatoon: The State of Trump. Part One: Immigration. A Politics in the Pub Event

In the interest of providing a forum to discuss some of the recent changes we have been witnessing in the United States of America, CIC-Saskatoon invites you to the first in a series of Politics in the Pubs, an opportunity to share some of the recent developments and their implications. Join us as we ponder “The State of Trump.”

It has been a little over a month since the 45th president was officially installed. The main focus for this event will be effects on the prospect of immigration – which sees further developments and updates each week. CIC welcomes Dr. Alan Anderson to provide context for this discussion on immigration issues.

Speaker’s Biography
About Alan Anderson:
– longstanding experience with Canadian and international immigration and refugee policies
– Professor Emeritus of Sociology at the U of S; affiliated with Johnson-Shoyama Graduate School of Public Policy and Department of Political Studies
– active member of Saskatoon Refugee Coalition and Amnesty International
– volunteer at Global Gathering Place and former board member of Saskatoon Open Door Society
