CIC Saskatoon: Saskatoon Welcomes Bangladesh’s High Commissioner to Canada
March 13 @ 7:00 pm - 9:15 pm EDT
Commonwealth Day is celebrated on the second Monday of March each year as an opportunity to recognize the special relationship between the partners in the Commonwealth of Nations – countries which at one time were colonies of Great Britain.
On Commonwealth Day 2017, the Canadian International Council is honoured to welcome His Excellency Mizanur Rahman, High Commissioner for the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to Canada, on his first visit to Saskatoon.
Join us in meeting His Excellency as he re-introduces our Commonwealth partner to the Saskatoon audience; highlights the importance of Saskatchewan-Bangladesh and Canada-Bangladesh relationships; and looks toward areas for future collaboration both here and in Bangladesh.
This is a golden opportunity to meet an esteemed individual highly regarded among the diplomatic missions in Canada, and an opportunity to learn more about our connections with a nation-friend we have in the Commonwealth.
