CIC Saskatoon: Pulse-a-palooza! A Celebration of International Year of Pulses 2016
October 5, 2016 @ 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm EDT

The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) has designated 2016 as the International Year of Pulses (IYP).
Pulses (peas, beans, lentils, chickpeas) are an important international issue, saving lives: they are the primary protein source for the majorities of people in developing countries.
Saskatchewan has been playing an ever-larger role in feeding pulses to the world, currently providing 30 to 40% of global pulses.
In honour of the International Year of Pulses 2016, please join with us as we follow both of these stories.
