You are invited to join the Canadian International Council as we discuss “Doing the right thing at home and abroad – Why values matter: some ethical reflections” featuring the Hon. Bob Rae, Canada’s Special Envoy to Myanmar. This special event is presented by CCEPA and the MacEachen Institute for Public Policy and Governance with support from the Canadian International Council.

Speaker’s biography

Bob Rae’s life in Canadian politics and public service spans five decades, and he brings a wealth of experience to his current work as a constitutional lawyer, negotiator, teacher, and Special Envoy to Myanmar. He was elected eleven times to the House of Commons and the Ontario legislature, and served both as Premier of Ontario and Interim Leader of the Liberal Party of Canada. The author of five books, and three government reports, he consults widely in Canada and internationally on issues of public policy.
