How to Join

When joining the CIC, you have the option of affiliating with one of our 18 local branches or joining as a National Office Member. If there are no CIC branches near you, a National Office membership is an ideal option.

To join, renew or change your membership level please click on the appropriate link below (links open in a new window to Member365, our new membership management system):

Dual Membership (a reduced membership rate for two people at the same address, with one person designated as the primary member) – $115
Regular Membership – $75
Student Membership – $20
Young Professional Membership (up to the age of 40) – $45
NGO Memberships  (up to five people from the same organization can attend events as members) – $250

For corporate membership information ($500) and if you have any questions about your membership in general, please contact us at info@thecic.org

When joining or renewing your membership there will also be options to add a donation or purchase a paper subscription to the International Journal.

Please note that your membership is not eligible for tax deduction purposes.

Your year-long membership begins on the day you join or renew.

You will see a membership number.  However, this is for our accounting purposes only.  A dual membership will have one membership/account number.

Your local branch receives an update of new and renewing members every Monday morning from the national office.

In collecting your personal data, the CIC pledges to treat your information with respect. For details about our privacy practices, please visit our privacy policy.
