Charles Dumbrille is a seasoned Business Risk Management Analyst with extensive experience supporting organizations in managing country risk and conflict disruptions, building international portfolios, garnering stakeholder support, and strengthening brand reputation. Charles began his career leading organizations like the Canadian Embassy in Washington, DC. He dedicated his time to public affairs, concentrating on critical international projects including border security, trade, energy, Iraq and Afghanistan. Charles also worked at CNN headquarters in Atlanta, where he worked at the International News

Desk. His early career also involved a stint at the Carter Center Peace Program, where he committed his time to conflict resolution and management.

He is currently the Chief Risk Officer for IN-D-TEL International. Charles attended Queen’s University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in History, enhanced with civilian studies at the Royal Military College of Canada and the Bader International Study Centre. He holds a Master of Arts degree from the War Studies Department at King’s College London and is a Certified Protection Professional. He is the President of the

Mining Security Working Group, and past-President of the Vancouver Branch of the Canadian International Council.
