Jodi White is Distinguished Senior Fellow at Carleton University’s Norman Paterson School of International Affairs and Arthur Kroeger College of Public Affairs.

She is a member of the Order of Canda. She is principal at Sydney House Consultants and the former president of the Public Policy Forum. Ms. White’s career combines experience in journalism, politics and government, the private sector and international affairs. Her experience in government and politics includes positions as chief of staff to the Minister of External Affairs (1984 to 1988) and chief of staff to the Prime Minister (1993).

From 1994 to 2000 Ms. White was vice-president, corporate affairs, at Imasco Ltd. in Montreal. In 2009, Ms. White was a public policy scholar at the Woodrow Wilson Centre for International Scholars in Washington.

Ms. White has been and continues to be an active participant on a number of boards including Chair of Tides Canada,the National Theatre School, Woodrow Wilson Centre’s Canada Institute Advisory Board, the Canadian Institute of International Affairs, the Southern Africa Education Trust Fund, Bishop’s University and the Ottawa General Hospital.
