Paul Meyer is currently an Adjunct Professor of International Studies and Fellow in International Security at Simon Fraser University as well as a Senior Fellow at The Simons Foundation. A former member of Canada’s Foreign Service (1975-2010), Paul served in six diplomatic postings and in a variety of HQ positions, primarily in the field of international security policy.
He teaches an undergraduate course on diplomacy at SFU’s School for International Studies and pursues research concerning nuclear non-proliferation and disarmament, outer space security and international cyber security. He has been a member of the CIIA/CIC since undergrad days at the University of Toronto. He is a frequent contributor to the CIC’s on-line publication “OpenCanada.org”
