Michael Huenefeld has taught Strategy and International Trade courses at Simon Fraser University and Ashton College. He has also taught Model UN preparation courses for high school students. His volunteering experience includes service on the boards of the Alliance Française de Vancouver, the Vancouver Mokuyokai Society, and the Tomoe Arts Society. He has delivered a number of public lectures on French History at the Alliance Française de Vancouver. Michael has worked at the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia and the Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada. He holds MBA (Global Asset and Wealth Management) and MA (Political Science) degrees from Simon Fraser University. He also holds a BA (Honours) in Political Science with International Relations from the University of British Columbia. His MA thesis analyzed the impact of economic liberalization on domestic politics in Taiwan and South Korea. Michael is fluent in Spanish and French.
