Letter from the President

It is a pleasure to welcome you to the homepage of the Canadian International Council- National Capital Branch.

The Ottawa-based National Capital Branch is enthusiastic about reaching out to groups and individuals whose activities + interests take them into foreign affairs. We have a growing network in Ottawa of over 1200, including  325 active members. For those not familiar with the CIC, we invite you to join us.

Share with us key objectives, including youth engagement in our activities and providing mentoring opportunities.  We are an increasingly diverse group with more young professionals, new Canadians, NGO startups and more women. In the past year, a 5th working group was established, with Intelligence Futures’ joining our Study Groups with geographic focus. We have been reaching out with 60 events in the past year, with 3467 participants on-site and many more engaged virtually by YouTube and other media. Hope to see you soon!

Sincerely,

Margaret Huber
